JOB SUMMARY
Performs shelter and crisis intakes. Orients youth to agency policies, programs, and expectations. Monitors youth, participates in recreational and educational activities, supervises daily hygiene and chores, prepares meals, and provides crisis intervention.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree from an accredited college or university, OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience working with youth in a counseling and/or group home setting that is equivalent to two (2) years of full-time experience.
Must receive a verified negative test result on a mandatory drug test before starting in this position. Will be subject to random alcohol and drug testing. May be subject to post accident and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must successfully pass an initial criminal background check as well as every one year (1) thereafter by the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI).
A valid Driver’s License issued by the State of Utah is required to transport children using County vehicles.

Shift Differentials offered for: Weekday Swing Shift, Weekday Grave Shift, Weekday Day Shift, Weekend Swing Shift and Weekend Grave Shift.

Full time - Day shift / 7am - 5pm / Tuesday - Friday / Christmas Box House (10 hour shifts)
Full time - Swing shift / 2pm - 12am / Thursday - Sunday / Crisis Residential (10 hour shifts)
Full time - Swing shift / 3pm - 11pm / Saturday - Wednesday / Juvenile Receiving Center (8 hour shifts)
Full time - Swing shift / 3pm - 11pm / Sunday - Thursday / Christmas Box House & Shelter Care (8 hour shifts)
Full time - Swing shift / 3pm - 11pm / Monday - Friday / Christmas Box House & Shelter Care (8 hour shifts)
