Job Description

Who we are:

At Salt Lake County Youth Services, we provide clinical services for youth and their families who reside in SLCo. Our services include standard outpatient, crisis work, assessments for both mental health, and substance use disorder. We provide client-centered services to all we serve. If you enjoy working in a team environment that is committed to changing the lives of youth and their families, please keep reading.

What it is like to work here:

At Youth Services we are large enough as a County agency to have the resources to assist clients but small enough to individualize our services to each youth we serve. Most of our clinical team has over 10 years of service working as a clinician for the Division of Youth Services.

Surround yourself with:

Peers who are motivated to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. We serve youth and families from all walks of life and social status. We have a 45% Direct Service Ratio to provide the clinicians the time they need for documentation, trainings, and staff meetings. Our clinicians have an option for flexible schedules based on personal and business needs. Youth Services is not contract based. We do not expect, nor do we want you to double book clients.

We encourage a work life balance:

At Salt Lake County Youth Services our clinicians are eligible for 12 holidays, up to 24 vacation days, 12 sick days, one personal preference day every year, and up to an additional 5 days of bonus time off, all paid! We also pay for one conference/symposium a year up to $250. If not fully licensed, we provide all necessary supervision to become fully licensed. In addition to all of this we provide all new hires with an additional two weeks of paid vacation time to be used during their first year.
