Taylorsville Recreation Center is a community, family oriented center with a variety of amenities including indoor batting cages, rock climbing, multi-purpose rink, basketball gymnasium, fitness equipment, group fitness, and more.  The recreation center is located in a regional park which includes open space, disc golf, and a seasonal outdoor pool.  Employees at the recreation center have the opportunities to work flexible schedules, utilize the facility, and make a positive impact on the community we serve.

We are currently recruiting outgoing, reliable staff for the following positions:

• Aquatics
  • Lifeguards (15 and over)
  • Swim Instructors (16 and over)
• Recreation -- Youth Sports (14 and over)
  • Youth Basketball Supervisors
  • Youth Basketball Officials 
  • Youth Basketball Clinic Instructors 
  • Soccer Officials and Supervisors
• Fitness (15 and over)
  
  • Rock Climbing Belayers 
  • Rock Climbing Instructors 
• Customer Service (18 and over)   
  • Front Desk Attendants 
• Custodial/Maintenance 
  • Custodians 

TEMPORARY POSITIONS:

An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.  

• Must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
• Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
• Are not considered merit employees.
• Are "at will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
