Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Develops, coordinates, implements, and organizes the daily tasks and initiatives for the successful operation of the donor and sponsor concierge program.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Two (2) years of experience in a customer service or front-of-house role. Preference will be given to those with customer service experience in theater, formal event (sporting, religious, academic, catering, public/private reception), and/or restaurant hosting/serving.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Represents and coordinates Sponsor and Donor Concierge Program, providing premium quality customer services to Eccles Theater VIP guests.
  • Coordinates resolution of program issues.
  • Works as first point-of-contact liaison between sponsors/donors and Donor and Sponsor Services Manager.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with members, donors, other community organizations, and various government programs as they attend shows.
  • Monitors program sites and donor lounges to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, provisions, and prohibited activities. Ensures all sites are well-maintained.
  • Works in conjunction with concessionaire, technical staff, event and ticketing staff, and patron services staff to coordinate details of events.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position will be required to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Must be able to lift
up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods of time.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS POSITIONShifts are flexible, on a sign-up basis. Minimum of 3 shifts per month, as show schedule allows.
Shifts are typically 4-5 hours long.

 

TEMPORARY POSITIONS:

An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.

  • Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
  • Are not considered merit employees.
  • Are "at will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
