JOB SUMMARY
Provides advanced level administrative support for an extensive range of duties by performing responsible and/or difficult office procedures, interpreting and applying general processes, and applying department policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of general administrative support work, plus one (1) year of advanced administrative support work; OR two (2) years of courses or training in office technology and one (1) year of advanced administrative support work; OR an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Preference will be given to two (2) years of advanced administrative support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides customer service and administrative support by answering initial inquiries for venue rentals and providing general venue information.
• Relays messages and specific inquiry information to event managers. Distributes completed event forms and documentation.
• Processes electronic data and operates electronic office equipment.
• Assists with meeting coordination and fulfillment, recording and distribution of minutes.
• Interacts and communicates with the public, government, and business or community leaders relating to event information.
• Monitors and documents daily payments for rental contracts and event invoices.
• Conducts preliminary site visits for potential venue rental clients.
• Coordinates final event details and final editing of monthly event calendar and distribution to appropriate people and organizations.
Arts and Culture:
• Functions as a knowledgeable representative for Arts and Culture among community partners and industry peers.
• Performs specialized administrative support, such as responding to routine inquiries, completing special projects, and planning and coordinating limited private use events and event team meetings.
• Performs research and analysis of event-related data and prepares reports.
