Millcreek Activity Center is primarily a licensed childcare facility. We offer childcare for children of varying ages at multiple locations.     

 

Millcreek Activity Center transports children to and from school for grades k-6.

We also have three offsite Early Head Start classrooms that work with children 0-3 years old. These classrooms are located at various centers in the Salt Lake Valley.

 

Early Head Start Locations:  Copperview Community Center in Midvale, Central City in Salt Lake City, and South Salt Lake

 

Looking for reliable people, who enjoy children, have positive attitudes, are self-motivated, flexible, and friendly, and are willing to rotate between classrooms (on and off-site).

Due to the nature of some of these positions, the selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements 

 

TEMPORARY POSITIONS:

 

An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.

  • Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
  • Are not considered merit employees.
  • Are "at will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
