JOB SUMMARY
Provides information, counseling and support to WIC prenatal and postpartum participants to assist them in breastfeeding.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Has breastfed at least one baby (does not have to be currently breastfeeding).
Is enthusiastic about breastfeeding and wants to help other mothers enjoy a positive experience.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.

An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee is not eligible for County benefits and must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month. "At Will" employees may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing

This recruitment is to fill two positions:
The schedule for this position is 28 hours per week during business hours. WIC clinics are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Wednesday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
