JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates, creates and maintains database queries and reports. Assists with vendor-supported EHR enhancement requirement scoping, coordinates deployment and tests new system enhancements, and bug fixes. Provides coordination of help desk technical support for external Behavioral Health providers and division staff. Performs database reporting, maintenance, and enhancement support. Provides technical assistance for all Utah Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services (UWITS) modules. Coordinates software and hardware needs and training among internal staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or other closely related field, plus two (2) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.

Employees must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, climb, and crouch to install and maintain computer equipment, which will occasionally involve lifting up to 50 pounds.
Who we are:
At Salt Lake County Behavioral Health Services, we are a small staff of approximately 30 employees. We provide funding and oversite to contracted behavioral health provider agencies providing client-centered services for both mental health, and substance use disorder. We support a network of multiple provider agencies with over 700 users of our in-house supported Electronic Health Record (EHR).
