Job Summary
Leads and oversees multiple afterschool program sites, supervises staff, manages program operations, ensures grant compliance, administers budgets, and collaborates with schools and community partners to deliver high-quality afterschool programming.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Recreation, Family Consumer Studies or other related field; plus, three (3) years of experience in a field closely related to these duties, of which one (1) year must have been in a supervisory capacity; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Education may not be substituted for the required supervisory experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with direct experience related to Afterschool Programming.
A valid Driver’s License accepted by the State of Utah is required at the time of hire. A valid Driver’s License issued by the State of Utah must be obtained within six (6) months of hire to operate a County vehicle.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
